Unique beautiful things for people to love & use!
As a child I knew I wanted to be an artist.... my path would lead me to a BFA degree from Syracuse University, a design career in the Home Furnishings industry in New York City and eventually, to owning my own Decorative Painting & Styling business. The nature of my business led me to start designing home decor products & furniture and also led me to Etsy, which I love!
Through all of it, the challenge has been to communicate my ideas visually using creativity & to hopefully create a deeper connection with customers. I am inspired by patterns in everything and all things unique, sentimental and lovely. I look at each piece I have rescued and aim to turn it into something people will love, share and enjoy. By adding that "something extra", items that appear old or trash-ready become one of a kind & special. Owning an item that has been handmade by someone who took the time to create it, is a wonderful feeling!
Many of my designs & pieces are from vintage, gently used or re-purposed materials, I love giving new life to pieces with fresh coats of paint, creative techniques and lots of TLC.
