Will you cut a custom order?
YES! We'll cut just about any length of fabric and combination there is beyond a 1 yard cut! Our minimum for a custom order is 1 yard off of our bolts. Just send me a convo and I'll put together a custom order for you.
Do you cut less than a yard?
Yes we do, but our minimum is 1 yard in total please. Please just send a convo of which fabrics you'd like and we'll put an order together for you. So if you want 2 half yards, 4 quarter yards or a 3/4 yard and a 1-1/2 yard just let us know. This policy helps us keep our fees at a minimum.
Arbitraged orders Shipped as 'Gifts'
What is Arbitrage? Loosely defined, this is when, let's just say... you order from one marketplace (such as Amazon) or another shop here on Etsy, but your item arrived from another marketplace as a 'gift'. Please know our products are physically here in our shop and we ship from our own inventory. We will never arbitrage your order to a 3rd or 4th party. This causes great confusion to the original purchaser and we do not condone the practice. If for some reason we cannot fulfill your order we will contact you.
Fabric Donations/Scrap/Clearance
We sometimes get overwhelmed with scrap and off-cuts and need to have an outlet to clear our inventory. When this happens we add to our scrap bundle listing. That listing is a really great deal! Please look in our CLEARANCE and Scrap section too for more really great fabrics at amazing prices.
Quilting Weight - vs- Quilt Shop Quality
On our listings you might see the fabric described as 100% Cotton, Quilting Weight. That is there to give you an idea that the cotton fabric is a plain weave with a hand suitable to be used in quilting (though you can use just about any fabric in a quilt). Quilting fabric is also suitable for MANY different projects other than quilting.
The term 'Quilt Shop Quality' is sometimes used to describe a Premium Quality Quilt Cotton Fabric. These are going to be Name Brands and Designer Brands. They will typically be of heavier weight (but not always) and/or have a finer feel and finish to them. ALL of my fabrics come from Distributors, Manufacturers and Suppliers that service Quilt Shops.
