Welcome to my Etsy shop.
I am a self taught needle felt artist and specialize in realistic woodland critters.
Each Needle Felted item is a One of a Kind, OOAK, mostly from Alpaca fiber. Alpaca fiber is hypoallergenic, containing no lanolin or grease as in sheep wool.
My creations are born from the fiber produced by my own herd of alpacas , washed , dyed , carded and processed by myself here at the farm.
Early in my career ,1987, I was a guest on Regis & Kathy Lee creating my soft sculpture dolls on the show. My Art and alpacas have made guest appearances on News 6 NJ. Over the years I have been honored to be awarded The Golden Teddy People & Industry Choice, TOBY Industry & Peoples Choice in several categories. Awards of Excellence, URSA Award, The Alfonso Bear Artist Award, and TB&F Artist of the Year.
I have been a member of ODACA since 1996
Include are many articles in Teddy Bear and Friends Magazine, Steampunk Magazine 3 yrs in a row and most recently A is for Artist online magazine 2022 and Teddy Bear Times 2023
I am at my most peaceful and happy when I am creating my. I love the wildlife the most especially when patrons believe them to be real
