Does it work on iPhone or iPad?
The spreadsheet does: it opens in the Google Sheets and Excel apps (setup is easier on a computer). The HTML apps do not run on phones or tablets (iPhone, iPad or Android), because downloaded HTML apps are not reliable there. Please use them on a computer (Windows, Mac, Linux, Chromebook).
How do I use the spreadsheet in Google Sheets?
Upload the .xlsx file to Google Drive, open it with Google Sheets, then choose File > Save as Google Sheets.
Spreadsheet or app?
The spreadsheet is for people who like tables and want to see every formula. The app, used on a computer, is for people who want one clear number each day, bank CSV import and no formulas to look after.
Is there a subscription?
No. You pay once and keep the file.
Where is my data stored?
Only in the web browser on your device. The app makes no network requests. Save a backup file from Settings now and then; clearing your browser data deletes what the browser stored.
Can I use it on two devices?
Yes, but they do not sync automatically. Save a backup file on one device and restore it on the other.
Does it connect to my bank?
Not directly, on purpose. Export a CSV from your online banking and import it; the app maps the columns and skips duplicates.
Which edition should I buy?
All editions share the same core (safe-to-spend number, CSV import, backups, English/German, 5 currencies). Pick the one that matches your main goal, or the All-in-One bundle for everything.
Is it in German?
Every edition has an English and a German interface. The Haushaltsbuch edition starts in German with euros.
How do I get the file?
After purchase, Etsy shows a download link and emails it to you. Download the ZIP in a web browser (the Etsy app cannot download files), unzip it and double-click the HTML file.
