I’ve been sewing since I was a child. What started as a curious kid, a needle, and a pile of fabric turned into a lifelong habit of always having something creative in progress. Sewing has followed me through every chapter — busy seasons, quiet evenings, and the in-between moments that eventually inspired Studio Layover.
Travel has always been part of that story too. I love the rhythm of it — the planning, the packing, the pause between destinations. Those moments in transit, when everything slows just enough, are where a lot of inspiration lives.
Studio Layover was born out of those in-between spaces. The layovers. The packing, unpacking, repacking. The realization that the things we carry should work hard, look good, and feel intentional.
