Christina's passions!
When Christina was 7 years old, I took her to a jewerly making class at indigo Art School. She loved the class and school so much, that she went there after school until the school closed!
When Christina creates her works of art, she hums! She loves putting the "right" colors together, and adding just the right amount of sparkle! So being, the loving mom that I am, I bought every type of bead and all the tools that I could find!! And, then she started making some of her own beads with polymer clay. So naturally, I had to buy all the colors the polymer clay companies made!!
And then, we just had to take a sewing class at JoAnn Fabrics! Now, Christina loves making pillows, dog collar scarfs, handkerchiefs, and tote bags!
Working with the jewerly and the sewing machine might come easy for some, however, it started as a challenge for Christina. Christina has Downs Syndrome.
She is exceptional! She started reading at 2 years old! She is bright and funny and has a heart of gold! Her Dad and I love her dearly!
Friends of ours keep telling us to list her work on etsy.com, so here we are!
Our shop uses handmade polymer clay beads, Swarovski Crystal, Czech Glass beads, and various wire.
