Quarantined life made me want to start stitching once again.
Hi. My name is Jessica. I'm a wife and a mother of 2 girls. I used to live in California and just recently moved to Pennsylvania. Before quarantine, I was a busy mom. I would take my girls to school every morning, then go to work part time at our local thrift store. When the pandemic hit I was laid off like so many people in our country. After a month went by and still no work and no school for my girls, I figured I had some free time on my hands. (Not to mention I was really getting bored). So I decided to pick up my needle once again and see what I can make. About 17 years ago I learned the art of cross stitching, and this time around I wanted to take up embroidery. I mostly learned through YouTube videos. I made my first embroidery hoop for my mom as a Mother's Day gift. It was a floral hoop with the word Mom in the middle and she loved it. You can see it on my cover page. After my mom's reaction I decided to open up an etsy shop to create more art for others. So far I am enjoying it and I love seeing other peoples artwork! I definitely get inspired by others work. There are so many talented people here on etsy.
If your wondering why my shop name is "Stitchfully " it's because I love the band Journey so much and my favorite song of theirs is "Faithfully". So when I say Stitchfully I hear Steve Perry singing "Faithfully" in my head. Kind of rings a bell right? LOL.
Anyways, thanks for reading this and for looking through my shop. I know it's not much right now but I'm hoping I can create more customs for you all. I hope your doing well! God Bless!
