Soy el más joven de cinco niños. Cuando tenía unos 4 años, mi madre me enseñó a hacer ganchillo con una simple puntada de cadena para darme algo que ver con mis manos durante el tiempo de lectura en voz alta, en lugar de atormentar a mis hermanos mayores.
Unos años más tarde, pude hacer ganchillo cuadrados simples.
Cuando tenía 11 años, estaba creando gorros y diseñando mi primer patrón de manta afgana.
Hoy en día, soy un educador en el hogar ocupado que se abre camino hacia la escuela de medicina en el futuro. En algún momento del último año me enamoré de adorables animales y criaturas de ganchillo.

I am the youngest of five boys. When I was about 4-years old, my mom taught me to crochet a simple chain stitch to give me something to do with my hands during read-aloud time, rather than torment my older brothers.
A few years later, I was able to crochet simple squares.
By the time I was 11 I was creating beanies and designing my first afghan blanket pattern.
Today, I’m a busy homeschooler working my way toward medical school in the future. Somewhere in the last year I fell in love with adorable crochet animals and creatures.
