The beginning of my adventure in this shop was due to my love for creating unique and functional works. I have always been supported in exploring my creative process through my wonderful family members and peers. This led to my learning of every form of art and craft I could get my hands on and in the end going to college to become an art educator. The arts have been a huge part of how I developed into who I am and how I overcome challenges to this day. Implementing art into each aspect of my life has been life changing and I hope to help others discover what art might do for them.
My shop has become a different way for me to share my art/craft and create items that reflect and support what I value. I have always been attached to the idea of comfort. Being able to develop artistic skills and then gear them towards something that gives someone a sense of peace or home is important to me, and has been a fun way to explore possibilities for my shop.
A huge influence for me also comes from my mom and her love of gardening. She has put so much into becoming an amazing gardener and I have been lucky enough to be able to watch and learn from her process. Over the years I have gained a love for gardening myself and even when I have limited space have found a way to create my own little sanctuary of plants. The process of growing something and putting so much care into the life of a plant brings me to that place of comfort and love.
This is where the base of Stone Sprouts developed. I started to incorporate plants that I grow into what I make and also made tools to aid me in the growing process. Through this process I have gained a stronger connection to what I make and better know the quality of what goes into every step of my creations. For me, this is a true connection of the creative process that has motivated me for so long, and the ability to share that feeling of comfort gardening gives me with others.

5 out of 5 starsAfter reading an article on attracting pollinators, I wanted to add a feeding dish to my garden. I spent a good bit of time looking for something not mass produced or plastic and found this shop on etsy. I loved the finish options, and chose a bright citrus species one that I hope will appeal to local bees & butterflies. The dish is solid, but not too heavy and it is absolutely gorgeous. The colors compliment the flowers in my garden and I expect it will attract and feed many bees. Amber provides excellent service and was wonderful to communicate with. She answered my questions and kept me informed through the process. I highly recommend this wonderful shoppe!

Custom and personalized orders
I love to create custom orders!
Even if I do not have something similar posted in my shop at the time, feel free to message me and let me know what you would like me to make.
I charge an extra 20% to the original price of something I make in my shop already for custom orders. This is due to using extra time and changing my process to make sure you have something unique. If you are asking for something I do not currently make, we can discuss pricing based off of materials, time, and shipping.
The amount of time needed to fulfill a custom order will vary depending on the materials and difficulty of the piece. I estimate 1 month for ceramic pieces and 1-2 weeks for other items.
