Stephen heeft een AAS in Fisheries and Wildlife Tech, een BS in Science Illustration. Hij studeerde onder Mineo Ruyko Yamamoto, en is een Meester Gyotaku prentkunstenaar en Sensei met een Japanse artiestennaam, Mutsugoroh.
Hij blijft ernaar streven om nieuwe technieken te verfijnen en te ontdekken om visdruk tot een kunstvorm te verheffen, evenals een eerbetoon aan en het voortzetten van de geschiedenis en traditie van deze Japanse creatieve expressie en viering van de natuur.
Stephen's schilderijen, etsen, houtgravures en andere werken tonen zijn obsessie met de details en schoonheid van de natuurlijke wereld en passie om het vast te leggen.

Welcome to Stormtree Studio, where the Natural World is committed to images and its beauty is celebrated on your walls. We focus on fish and fishing images, Illustrations and printmaking of various types, including a fine art form of Japanese fish printing, Gyotkau.
