Hi Nicole, thank you for your review! To clarify for other stitchers, the 'spotting' is referring to intentional hand-dyed speckling on one of the colors in this kit (the desert orange with dark green speckles, that stitch up as shaded sections). We hand-dye our yarns in our Arizona studio to add these variegated tones, giving the design more organic dimension and texture that solid colors can’t quite capture. We appreciate the feedback and will make sure our descriptions highlight this artisanal detail. Happy stitching!
