My Story So Far...
Hi everyone,
My name is Melissa and I live with my two daughters and husband in a town in Surrey. How can I not mention my two dogs, Dorothy the bulldog and Meryl our rescue Labrador, along with Harriet the rescue cat and she actually runs the house ;-)
I have a BA Hons degree in woven textiles and I specialised in colour and dye processes. I have worked for 16 years in the retail fashion industry with a fabulous U.K. company that had its own inhouse design team.
I set up Stosa Design during the pandemic, I had been playing around with jewellery and beads since I was a child, and despite the despair at this time, it gave me the opportunity to stay at home and get my true love up and running.
As the years have gone by my passion for living a more natural life has risen, and I discovered essential oils and how much they could help me with this, I now use them for everything! My beaded designs started to incorporate wooden beads and Lava rock so that I could carry my essential oils on my jewellery and use them as an alternative to perfume... I became obsessed - and here we are! I also try to pack everything now without plastic and as eco friendly as possible, but so it also arrives safely and looks lovely.
