About Stringybark Designs
Welcome to Stringybark Designs, a small Australian art studio creating hand-drawn wall art for nurseries, kids’ rooms, and family homes.
The name comes from the native stringybark tree, a little nod to my Australian roots and my love for artwork that feels warm, grounded, and full of character.
Stringybark Designs began during the 2020 lockdown, when I found myself at home with time, pencils, and a growing urge to create. I illustrated a simple alphabet poster to keep myself busy, then printed a small batch after my husband encouraged me to share it. When friends and family started telling me how much their little ones loved the characters, something clicked, and I haven’t stopped drawing since.
Today, I’m a stay-at-home mum of two, creating art in the midst of family life, nap times, and the everyday chaos that comes with it. I’m happiest with my family or with an artbook and pencil in hand, and that love for both shows up in every piece I create.
All of my artwork is drawn by hand and created with children in mind. I focus on designs that feel joyful and playful, but still soft enough to grow with your child rather than feeling outgrown too quickly. In a world where so much art is rushed or generated, I take pride in creating thoughtful, high-quality illustrations that come straight from the heart.
My hope is that these pieces bring a little warmth, happiness, and personality into your home, and become part of the spaces where memories are made.
Thank you for being here, for supporting small business, and for choosing art made with care. It truly means the world to me.
