What makes The Striped Poppy pop?
Our shop’s story begins on May 10th 2014 – our wedding day. This story however begins when most others like it ends. It was long after the last champagne bottle was popped, the final song was played, and the lights came on.
When we were finally alone, we began to process the day that passed us by all too quickly. We realized two things: we just shared a truly special moment, and we didn’t want it to end.
At that time, we didn’t know what to do with that information, other than to savor the memories, and live our happily ever after; but even after time passed, we kept finding ourselves going back to that sunny May afternoon.
Then one night, while sharing an embarrassingly cheap bottle of wine, it hit us. Life’s truly special moments happen when you connect with the people who matter most. For us, all of those connections came together on our wedding day.
Sometimes all it takes to inspire that moment is a simple, thoughtful reminder of how much someone cares. Our mission is to help you make that moment.
