Dan is a skilled knife maker. I find the knives to be more substantia, more character, and heavier than mass produced knives. I recommend going with an American asrtisan such as Dan.

This is a very good paring knife. The knife has a longer handle and the blade is sharp which is perfect for peeling oranges and apples. My husband really likes it because he has bigger hands so much more comfortable for him to use. Dan is very easy and accommodating to work with. I really appreciated his excellent customer service.
