People are always asking, "How did you get into this?"
The answer is simple: I went to camp, I started making friendship bracelets, and never stopped.
Okay, so maybe it's a little more complicated than that. I took a metal-working jewelry course in Florence, Italy. I fell in love with the art and complexity of the craft. When I no longer had access to the tools I used there, I worked in Buffalo, NY for a wonderful artisan jeweler. I was able to hone my skills and become familiar with using leather and studs.
As always, I was making friendship bracelets and decided to combine them with more durable materials. It started as a fun hobby, but with support and encouragement from my family and friends, I decided to make a business out of it. And voila! Here I am.
