Die Antwort ist einfach: Ich ging ins Camp, ich fing an, Freundschaftsarmbänder zu machen, und hörte nie auf.
Okay, vielleicht ist es etwas komplizierter als das. Ich nahm an einem Schmuckkurs für Metallbearbeitung in Florenz, Italien, teil. Ich habe mich in die Kunst und Komplexität des Handwerks verliebt. Als ich keinen Zugang mehr zu den Werkzeugen hatte, die ich dort benutzte, arbeitete ich in Buffalo, NY, für einen wunderbaren handwerklichen Juwelier. Ich konnte meine Fähigkeiten verfeinern und mich mit dem Umgang mit Leder und Nieten vertraut machen.
Wie immer machte ich Freundschaftsarmbänder und beschloss, sie mit haltbareren Materialien zu kombinieren. Es begann als lustiges Hobby, aber mit Unterstützung und Ermutigung von meiner Familie und Freunden beschloss ich, ein Geschäft daraus zu machen. Und voila! Hier bin ich.

People are always asking, "How did you get into this?"
The answer is simple: I went to camp, I started making friendship bracelets, and never stopped.
Okay, so maybe it's a little more complicated than that. I took a metal-working jewelry course in Florence, Italy. I fell in love with the art and complexity of the craft. When I no longer had access to the tools I used there, I worked in Buffalo, NY for a wonderful artisan jeweler. I was able to hone my skills and become familiar with using leather and studs.
As always, I was making friendship bracelets and decided to combine them with more durable materials. It started as a fun hobby, but with support and encouragement from my family and friends, I decided to make a business out of it. And voila! Here I am.
