I started with a desire to make practical, humane, gorgeous dog collars..

My first collars were fabric but I noticed on my dogs they got dirty fast and didn't clean up that well. I wanted leather! But leather comes at a cost to the animals that supply it and the environment in its production. That's when I got the idea to used reclaimed belts. Leather is discarded everywhere. I bring it back to life in my work. Hopefully my leather dog collars and accessories make a little difference to the planet and big difference to the lucky dog that gets to wear a gorgeous "look at me" collar from Studio1070
