Historical Sewing - from past to present

Several years ago I became Seamstress-in-Residence for the Sense & Sensibility pattern company. That launched me into an incredible amount of research regarding historic clothing and fabrics. Once I had been sewing historic garments for a while, I decided to bring them to Etsy, where I was pleasantly surprised by the warm reception I received here.

Whether a client simply desires a gown to be historically inspired, or wants it to be period correct, I can help in creating the gown of her dreams. I spend a majority of my time creating garments from the Regency Era (circa 1795-1820); but as time allows will also be sewing from other eras as well.
