Welcome to Studio Battleaxe, where this salty working mom aims to turn her free time into some extra fun money. All the art here is created in the available time between managing my job, my family, and my household. Since that (as many working mamas know) is not a whole lot of time, creating each kit and planner is a very slow process. However it's also a labor of love, and I hope you enjoy what I have to offer!
Side notes: I am an Art Director by day... designing stationery, bath & body, cosmetic bags, and many other gift items for the mass market. (You might even have something I designed sitting in your home right now!) My previous job was designing souvenirs - pins, key rings, and magnets - for theme parks and other tourist attractions. Disneyland is my favorite place to do "research." And my shop name comes from an endearing pet name my husband gave me years ago.... his trusty battleaxe. I guess you could say the name stuck. Seamless Patterns
In general: most patterns cannot be lined up like tiles to create a seamless pattern. Even when I design a pattern to be seamless, it doesn't usually line up that way when I size it at 12x12 inches. However - if you have an editing program - you can overlap certain designs to make them seamless. You can message me to ask which ones those are. Keep in mind, there is also a subtle texture on each pattern that will NOT be seamless. GOING FORWARD: I will start including seamless, non-textured tiles for each applicable design with future kits. Those designs will be indicated in the thumbnails. And I will slowly go back and add those in to the old kits.
Discounts
Unfortunately, I do not offer discounts. Each full kit takes roughly 40 hours to finish from concept, research, sketching, rendering, and "packaging". Each sale only nets me about $0.17 per hour or $1.10 with a commercial license. This shop is a fun side venture for me, and I love it. But I also want to feel like my time was worth it. :)

Can I use your planners on an Android device?
I have yet to find an Android app that is comparable to GoodNotes or Notability. :( I know there are many note-taking apps available, but I have not been able to confirm that they can use digital stickers. I don't own an Android tablet myself, so I can't personally text apps out.

The vacation planner I purchased has been updated. Can I get the new version?
If you purchased the planner within 30 days of the update, message me and I'll send you a link to download the updated version for free. If it has been over 30 days, you will need to purchase the updated version.
