Hi! Welcome to Studio Bladel!
Well hello! My name is Katelyn, and I’m the owner and designer behind Studio Bladel.
Studio Bladel started just one month after I moved to Philadelphia in the fall of 2019. At the time, it was a little part-time dream in my home studio. Since then, it’s grown into my full-time job, with everything designed and curated by me in my studio at the BOK Building in South Philly.
I always tell people that my jewelry is a pretty good visual representation of my own two styles: half is vintage-inspired, with designs pulled from old wallpaper patterns, architecture, and Art Deco motifs; the other half is funky, bright, playful, and a little sassy. There’s truly something here for everyone.
My love for Philadelphia has found its own special place in Studio Bladel, too. I make some of my favorite pieces for our sports-obsessed city—fun, colorful game-day jewelry designed to be your good-luck charms through every stressful inning, quarter, and overtime.
Earrings have always been my favorite accessory. They’re statement pieces, conversation starters, and, for me, an instant confidence boost. That’s a big part of why my motto is “for the bold, big-hearted and badass.” I feel incredibly lucky that I get to make jewelry for so many different people, living so many different lives, and that they can find something here that makes them feel confident and a little more like themselves.
