We love what we do. It's almost an obsession.
Just your average couple, married 40 years, we grew up watching the Brady Bunch, Partridge Family and all those wonderful shows that featured iconic mid century furniture.
Never could we imagine that one day our Tulip chair cushions would be featured on HGTV's Brady Bunch Renovation show and the international Star Trek Convention in Las Vegas.
44 years ago we met while attending music school in Erie, PA and shortly afterward decided to move to Los Angeles on a whim. Soon after arriving here, we distinctly remember driving by the house where the Brady Bunch exterior was filmed. We smiled at each other and our love for retro was officially born.
LA is rich with retro modern homes and architecture and it is no wonder that we were inspired to furnish our home with classic retro furniture, including many pieces by Eames and Saarinen.
It wasn't long before we were designing our own retro wall art and reupholstering our tattered Tulip chair cushions.
The rest you can say, is history.
