Studio Meme was founded in 2013 by Meirav & Tom Niv, who met and fell in love while traveling across India a few years earlier. With Tom’s knack for business and excellent customer relations skills, he is the perfect complement to Meirav’s artistic brilliance and creativity.
An honors graduate of the renowned Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design, Meirav began her involvement in jewelry making while still a student, mastering a variety of modern and traditional techniques, including those of Indian tribal art. This led her to travel to India to learn more and perfect her skills. Upon her return home, she devoted three years to studying jewelry-making at Tel Hai, developing a special love for understanding and working with metals, and incorporating her art into her jewelry designs. Her work has already been displayed in several exhibitions.
After meeting and falling in love with Meirav in India, Tom returned and completed a multidisciplinary B.A. majoring in psychology, philosophy, and art. At Studio Meme, he is responsible for marketing, logistics, business development, and, of course, customer relations – an essential component of customized jewelry-making.
