STUDIO TEW was founded in 2013 at my kitchen counter while I was on maternity leave. Fast forward 13 years, and the brand has grown into a carefully curated collection of highly desirable leather goods and bag straps, all designed with effortless style in mind.
For the first seven years, I lovingly handmade every piece myself. However, when my second child arrived, keeping up with demand became impossible. To continue growing while maintaining the quality and craftsmanship I value so deeply, I evolved the business. Today, I work closely with skilled artisans, and all of our handbags are proudly handmade in Italy using beautiful Italian leather. I personally source and handpick every item you see in the shop to ensure it reflects the timeless, understated aesthetic STUDIO TEW is known for.
Our STUDIO TEW tags are made in the UK by Peter Gaye, a full-time NHS mental health nurse who also runs his own laser printing business.
I truly believe that the most fashionable pieces are understated and classy. I’m very particular about what I stock — only timeless, stylish designs that you’ll still love and wear in 10 years’ time.
