And I’m at your service to search for wonderful vintage pieces and sew handmade vintage-inspired pieces to enable you to express that individuality! Search & Sew – That is what I’m here to do for you!

Ever since I can remember, I have loved fashion. My mother was a seamstress and she is the one who taught me how to sew, as well as the one from whom I inherited my love for clothes and fashion. As a little girl I would sit next to my mom, feeling the fabrics as she worked, looking at old sewing magazines and picking out all of the clothes I wanted. I often dressed up in my mother’s, my sister’s and my aunt’s clothes + shoes and put on a "fashion show" for the “home” audience. Many years have passed since then, and those loving clothes have now become vintage. I love that the clothes have a story of years past and I love the idea that behind each garment there is a story of a real life. I enjoy imagining and trying to relate to other people’s stories through the vintage clothing that was left behind.

I opened this Etsy shop because I realized that I had accumulated a lot of beautiful, quality vintage clothing each with its own story, and I wanted to share it with others! I really enjoy my daily searching and sewing. In the moment that I realize I’ve found a unique item, that I’ve scored a great vintage find, I get so excited thinking about listing it in my shop the next day.

You can tell a lot about me from the items in my shop. I love all vintage, but closest to my heart is the fashion of the 70’s starring hippie, loose fitting and airy fabrics, - your basic music festival-style fashion. Many of my vintage pieces possess this gypsy, hippie and bohemian feel - which today, is referred to by the catchphrase “Boho Chic.”
It’s not a surprise that for my handmade dresses I draw inspiration from the fashion trends of the 60’s, 70’s + 80’s. I have a large collection of sewing books with original patterns from those eras. I also love searching for vintage fabrics to give my handmade designs a really unique and original quality, while always giving a nod to the vintage-retro look that I adore.

There is never more than one of each of my vintage pieces and my handmade pieces. Each item is unique and there is no other like it.
