About

Crafting All the Time

Suburban Stitcher was started kind of by accident. I have been sewing for years, making bags, for about 5...just for personal use and as gifts. I would use them and gift them to my knitting friends, and everyone kept telling me "you need to sell these". So, Suburban Stitcher was born.

One of my passions is picking colors and fabrics and matching things together. I LOVE that part of bag making. Each combination looks different, and can evoke a different feeling or mood. You can make 100 bags exactly the same, but that's not fun! I love making things that are very limited in quantity, so when you purchase a bag you feel like you have a very original and unique product.
