Unique Pet Designs with the Highest Quality
Hi everyone! Thank you for visiting my Etsy Store - The Suggie Shop. My name is Kimberly and I've been a designer and pattern writer for both children and pet clothing and accessories for over 14 years. I strive to bring the highest quality and unique designs to everything I make. I have a passion for art and enjoy designing my own luxury fabrics for many of the items you see in my shop. This allows me to create truly unique products that you will not find anywhere else. I started designing my own clothing back in High School (we won't say how many years that's been) and I've been sewing and designing ever since. I took a short break during college and motherhood and picked back up on it 14 years ago when I was approached by a large pattern company and asked to write sewing patterns for them. I did this for many years and understand the complexities of safe sewing for children and infants according to government regulations and apply those same safety standards when I sew for pets. After writing sewing patterns for kids and pets for several years, I realized that my passion was less in math and pattern writing and more in design, creating, and sewing. So, I decided to break away from pattern writing so that I could continue my passion in creativity. After owning sugar gliders for the past year, and loving and spoiling them, I noticed a need for cute, colorful, safe pet products, especially for sugar gliders here in the US. So, I've decided to branch onto what I currently do (which is making designer scrub caps for the medical field) and start this new Etsy Shop. My sweet babies, Sugar, Bear, and Lolly are my testers for my pet products, and you can be assured that I will do everything I can to make safe, beautiful products for your babies as well - assuring that there are no exposed seams and making sure to use a small 1mm stitch length on all topstitching. Of course, as you know, there is no pet product that is 100% safe, so be sure to always check your items daily for holes, strings, wear, etc. because you can NEVER be TOO safe! Again, thank you for visiting and I hope you come back often! ❤️, Kim
