Welcome to Summit & Reed! My name is Andy and I live in the Chicagoland area.
I bought a 3d printer in 2015 and didn’t pay too much attention to it for several years.. Working as an engineer I didn't have much time to do anything but print other people's designs, It was fun but restrictive. Meanwhile I was becoming frustrated with the lack of creativity in my day job. It was around this time I realized I could use my 3d printer as a creative outlet.
I started to learn 3D modeling and design and as my skills improved I was able to make my own creations. I was amazed I could imagine something in my mind and be able to design it and hold it in my hands the very next day. I love doing this and 3D printing makes that possible.
I am forever grateful for all the positive support, whether it's a purchase, positive reviews or favoriting my items. All of this allows me to pursue this dream.
In return I promise all of my items are original creations. Everything you see in my store is designed by me and represents many hours of iteration and design. I really hope you enjoy what I do.
