Qui troverete una collezione della mia passione creativa. Mentre ti concentri sulla bellissima arte calda del macramè, potresti anche trovare una spolverata di altri oggetti. Spero di ispirarti ad aggiungere uno stile di design unico e confortevole alla tua casa. Ognuno di questi oggetti creati individualmente è fatto a mano da me ed è davvero una gioia fare ognuno di loro.
Sono molto fortunato a vivere a Cobble Hill sulla bellissima isola di Vancouver, una fonte di bellissima ispirazione e da dove provengo molti dei materiali utilizzati. Se non dall'isola di Vancouver, cerco di procurarmi da piccoli negozi in Canada.
Ho sperimentato varie arti e mestieri nel corso dei miei quattro decenni. Il mio primo vero sforzo "business" è stato vendere cornici decorate con il mio bestie in un mercato delle pulci locale! Diventare creativi è sempre stata una seconda natura per me ed è diventato un calmante, soddisfacente e tanto necessario antistress. In un dato giorno, posso essere trovato a fare varie forme di creazione artistica tra cui disegno, pittura, perline, pirografia, rifinitura di mobili, cottura e decorazione di torte e, naturalmente, disegni in fibra.
Crescere i miei due figli è lo scopo della mia vita e farò sempre tesoro del tempo che ho il privilegio di avere ogni giorno. Il mio augurio per loro è di non rinunciare mai a vivere i loro sogni, riempiendo le loro giornate con ciò che li rende felici. Questa è una delle forze trainanti che mi ha portato ad aprire SunBee Designs e condividere il mio amore per il mestiere con tutti coloro che me lo permetteranno! Il nome "SunBee" è un piccolo cenno ai miei due figli ed è una combinazione dei loro soprannomi speciali.

Hi there, my name is Heather. Welcome to SunBee Designs!
Here you will find a collection of my creative passion. While focusing on the beautiful warm art of macramé, you may also find a sprinkling of other items. I hope to inspire you to add a unique, comfortable design style to your home. Each of these individually created items is handmade by me and it is truly a joy making each and every one.
I am very fortunate to live in Cobble Hill on beautiful Vancouver Island, a source of beautiful inspiration and from where I source many of the materials used. If not from Vancouver Island, I try to source from small shops within Canada.
I have been experimenting with various arts and crafts throughout my four decades. My first actual "business" endeavor was selling decorated picture frames with my bestie at a local flea market! Getting creative has always been second nature to me and has come to be a calming, satisfying, and much needed stress reliever. On any given day, I can be found doing various forms of art creation including drawing, painting, beading, pyrography, furniture refinishing, baking and decorating cakes, and of course, fiber designs.
Raising my two children is my life’s purpose and I will always treasure the time I am privileged to have daily. My wish for them is to never give up on living their dreams, filling their days with that which makes them happy. This is one of the driving forces that has brought me to open SunBee Designs and share my love of the craft with everyone who will allow me! The name “SunBee” is a little nod to my two children and is a combination of their special nicknames.
