Spreading Rainbow Joy
I started off making jewelry around the age of 15. Working on my own and eventually working at an amazing jewelry supply store here in Columbus, OH called Byzantium. It was a truly magical place where I met amazing people and learned wonderful skills. I expanded my jewelry making skills with classes in metal smithing, learning to set stones and various other exciting techniques.
In an effort to expand my offerings beyond jewelry at the markets I branched out into air plant hangers. Designing them to hang in a window with beautiful stones attached. It didn’t take long for me to make to leap into window crystals. Remembering the lazy days of my childhood summers spent at my grandmothers where she always had sun catchers in her windows. I never tired of seeing the rainbows dance across the room. I was chasing that feeling again and I wanted to share it with everyone.
I am still filled with joy when the sun shines thru and rainbows dance around my room. It makes me smile on the worst days. I think we can all use a reminder of the light that still exists even when it can feel very dark.
