About

One Dreary Northwest January...

We were spending our winter taking turns being sick (as usual). I was starting to feel stir crazy and bored and stressed out from either being sick or taking care of sick people.

I needed to do something new!

So I checked out every book in our local library about soap making (there were about 30). Read each one, and then around February, 2012 I bought my first batch of soap supplies. By April, I had made so many soaps that it was time to sell. And here I am today!

Making soap has became my creative outlet and my passion! It's my bit of fun at the end of the day - after the kids are in bed. It keeps my brain busy when I'm doing menial tasks. There's always something new to learn or a technique to try when it comes to soap. I don't think I'll ever come to the end of it!

Frequently asked questions

Wholesale availability

I do offer wholesale pricing at 50% off retail plus shipping. Minimum initial order is $100. Subsequent orders may be of any amount.

Custom and personalized orders

Custom and personalized orders are available! Please convo me with your ideas and I'll try to make them happen. Keep in mind that soap takes 4-6 weeks to cure plus production time, so if your order is for a wedding or other special event I require 60 days advance notice.

Care instructions

Homemade soap is all natural with no preservatives. So it's different than commercial soap! It's also much better for your skin. To keep your bar fresh and help it to last a long time, make sure to allow it to dry between uses. If you keep it on a soap dish that has good drainage your bar will stay hard and last for a long time!

My body butters are made without perservatives. To prevent mold and bacteria growth, you must never introduce water to the container. I suggest using a popcycle or craft stick to remove what you need from the container, or dry clean hands.

Gift wrapping and packaging

I offer a thank you note with every purchase that can be customized to whatever message you'd like to send.
