Sundae Yarns began with hand dyed yarn. I love the idea of creating a unique blend of colors that you can't quite find in the your local store (although we love local craft stores too!). But sometimes, you can't find what you're looking for, nor can you actually put your finger on exactly what you need until you find it. That's because it's something you haven't seen before. That's what the yarn I dye is all about; offering something just as personal as the projects you're using it for. And of course, the best fibers are always used, so you know that you're getting something both beautiful and comfortable.

Of course with yarn comes the projects you use them for. I am personally a crocheter and a knitter. This has inspired me to create patterns, just in case you have extra yarn in your stash (don't we all?!) and need a reason to use it. Giving makers inspiration to keep making is something I'm very passionate about.

When you are a maker, you always want to branch out. Personally, I have always been adamant on making things when I can, so that the end result differs from mass produced brands. More recently, I have decided to expand Sundae Yarns to accommodate that. We started with yarn, but we celebrate all things handmade! Inspired by my passion to originally bring quality handmade crafts into my own home, now I want to be able to share them with you. So even if you aren't a maker yourself, you can have something handmade and unique to showcase.



When you order from Sundae Yarns, you know you will be receiving something that was made with care. I will only put things up in the shop that I would be proud to give my friends or family, or even use myself.

Also, if I ever incorporate any work from another business (yarn, pattern, etc.,) I will always credit them in listing descriptions. It's so important to support other small businesses, and I will always work to showcase the awesomeness that others have created, while properly crediting them in case a shopper wants to see what they have in stock!

All orders will have tracked shipping. So you can follow the journey of your order from the post office drop off, all the way to your door. If you're like me, you can't help yourself! Track away!
