Where Love and Creativity Meet
Hello! My name is M'Kaila Hanse and I am the owner of Sunday Quill & Thread. I am a pre-law student who has accepted admission for the Fall 2026 cycle (just a couple months away)! I found my love for crafting while studying for the LSAT. What started as a clay hobby, has now turned into clay sculptures, diamond painting, painting, and now sewing!
I recently received a sewing machine for Christmas after talking about it for over a year and I immediately fell in love with the craft. Something about taking a piece of fabric and creating something functional, yet cute, just never gets old. With Sunday Quill & Thread, I highlight personal creativity and uniqueness which is why I offer for my customers to choose everything for their item (the fabric, edge style, closure, bow color, lace color, ruffle color, no lace, etc). This allows for each item to be one-of-a-kind and completely speak to you as the customer. This is easier to navigate on our website: Sundayquillandthread.store rather than through Etsy as you can't actually see the fabric options here. Feel free to place an order wherever and if anything seems unclear, reach out! Or I will if something doesn't look right or isn't clarified.
I have created this shop solely to feed my creativity. However, I also have law school tuition, seat deposits, and supplies to fund as well since I am a first-generation student. All items are created with love and care as if they were made for me. Grateful doesn't even describe the feeling of being able to attend law school soon, let alone doing so because I created a personable business that feeds people's hearts.
Thank you soso much,
M'Kaila Hansel
