I LOVE IT!!! It is so well made and is even nicer than I had imagined. It has a good weight to it so it won't tip and the colors and shape of it are simply lovely!

Very nice hand bound book. I love the Coptic binding and the cover paper is lovely. The paper inside is very nice, though I have not tried writing on it yet. Still practicing my letters.

I bought both the black and this acorn ink at the same time and while I really love the Blacksmith ink as it is fabulous, my favorite is the acorn. It is so much fun to use and gives such dimension to my sketches (I mostly use this ink for sketching and portraits). I never though that transparency would be a quality I want in an ink, however this ink is slightly transparent and I love it. It gives my the ability to build up certain lines more than others and adds such depth to the sketches. This ink also does work with watercolors but you just can’t over work it too much. It is perfect for loose additions of color instead of full rendered paintings.

This is a wonderful product! I absolutely love using this ink. It does, upon first use, look as though the ink is very sheer and more gray than black, however, give it a sec and it will darken wonderfully. It is so much fun to use!
