Welcome to Sunflower Sundries' Etsy shop! Since 1992, we have been a small family-run business in rural Kentucky. Operating a chemical-free farm, we believe in local and cottage industry practices, meaning we employ our friends and neighbors and buy from local farmers and tradesmen. All of our fruits and vegetables are either grown right here on our farm or by other local farmers with similar farming practices. When you buy our products you are receiving the highest quality products on the market and contributing to the local economy. We have been growing food without using chemicals since our first garden in 1972. We make herbal soap, fruit jams, coarse grained mustard, pickled asparagus, Hickory King cornmeal and chips. We sell retail and wholesale. Visit our farm when you are in the area.

5 out of 5 starsI have bought from this shop before. The soap dishes I purchased are pretty, functional, and easy to clean. The soap is the only soap that does not irritate my skin, as I have very sensitive skin. I bought two more soap dishes one to keep and one to give as a gift. I am considering keeping both soap dishes , they are both pretty. Lol! The customer service is fabulous and they respond quickly to any questions you have. I plan on purchasing other products from this store.

5 out of 5 starsVery much like the soaps. The bars are larger than I thought they would be and fit perfectly in the soap dish that I bought from this artist. The soap does not dry out my hands. I will be purchasing more.

5 out of 5 starsThe customer service is great. I wasn’t sure what color to choose and the owner sent me a photo of various colors to choose from which helped. The soap dish is pretty as well as functional. This comes with a bar of soap. I have received a lot of compliments on the soap dish and soap. I will be purchasing more.

5 out of 5 starsI'm a repeat buyer, I think this is my 4th time purchasing this bar of this soap? I have sensitive, rash prone, combination skin, and need a soap that's cleansing but doesn't dry out or irritate my skin, and this soap has been perfect. Great lather.

Jennifer Gleason is the farmer/creator of Sunflower Sundries and the passion behind the products produced on her small farm. She is self educated in the homestead arts and loves making things by hand from local ingredients.

Assistant, Shipper, Farmer/soap Maker
Janet lives 2 miles from Sunflower Sundries where she grew up on a farm growing tobacco and milking cows. She had done many things in life including being foreman (woman) of heavy equipment crews. She handles all phases of work here.
