I have always loved creating! Sewing, crocheting, scrapbooking and card making are the things I love the most. The last ten years of my life, I have worked so many hours outside the home that the supplies seemed to accumulate faster than I could use them. I started my first Etsy shop with cards, banners, party invitations and favors and while I was selling, I saw that supplies were something everyone seemed to need. So I began by sorting through my fabric and buttons and seriously separated things I would use from those things I knew I'd never get to use, and I started listing things as de-stash for the best prices I could. The fabric started going pretty fast and so I started watching for that occasional fabulous sale and did purchase some to re-sell. But the buttons were the biggest hit! Before long I had several repeat customers and lots of convos from people looking for specific things. Great customer service has always meant more to me than the number of sales, so I was happy to find just the right things for my customers.

I'm still working on de-stashing the craft room, but now I am also finding the balance between having great supply sales and trying to sell my own creations! Thankfully, Etsy allows me to do both!
