Let's Do This
A long time ago, when Etsy was just a small site for artisans, I was young, full of energy, and ideas. I put some of those ideas up for sale, and one of them in particular was very well-liked. SureAsBlue became the home of the ORIGINAL POSTCARD DESK CALENDAR!
For many years, I offered at least one calendar design option, along with refills, so that cases could be saved and reused. That initial successful calendar project in 2008 also led to a series of prints, mousepads, magnets, and more. Each focused on simple imagery with bold colors and was minimalistic in nature. Many items from the SureAsBlue shop have been featured on blogs, best-of shopping lists, and the main page of Etsy itself.
Like many other shop owners, I eventually realized that my passion for selling began to fade as the market became flooded with mass-produced products and knock-offs. I made the difficult decision to close up shop and focus on my day job and freelance design work. Looking back, I believe this was the only way forward.
