I am a featured and world wide published National Geographic fine art photographer born in San Francisco, California specializing in creating beautiful oversized landscape and nature prints of North America. I travel solo exploring parks, coastlines, public lands and other wonderful places of interest in my van with my two little dogs.
I fell in love with outdoor and wilderness photography while backpacking in Yosemite and also working with my father in his "darkroom" as a young girl. I completed photography and art classes in college at San Jose State University which is located in the San Francisco Bay Area, California.
My life long passion for wandering through nature, outdoor adventure and interest in landscape photography drives me to create attractive and deep visions of our natural environment that I am delighted to share with others. My style is colorful, lively, comforting and all American! I am inspired by the strong bond I have with our magical world and my non-stop desire to explore the USA and Canada.
I love being a full-time Esty seller and continually strive to please my customers any time of day! Many of my photographs have and will be published in National Geographic, Vogue Magazine, Outdoor Photographer Magazine, Landscape Photography Magazine, Digital Photo Pro Magazine, Sunset Magazine, California State Parks Foundation, Yosemite Journal, and many others. My work has also been used widely in ads for television, books, puzzles, brochures, and calendars. Special edition puzzles created by myself with Ravensburger can be purchased in Barnes & Noble stores and available worldwide.
I frequently work with interior designers and art consultants on corporate projects. My photography enhances the walls of many interiors including homes, golf courses, restaurants, business office spaces, apartments, hospitals and more.
My primary camera is an ultra-high resolution 50 megapixel digital DSLR which enables me to photograph the fine and natural details of North America including the Pacific coast full of dramatic rocky cliffs and warm sandy beaches, majestic peaks and mountains, deserts, canyons, and redwood forests. Through this wonderful opportunity as an explorer, observer, wanderer, and photographer I'm then able to create extra-large prints with splendid color and clarity.
