An exploration in a creative journey.
My love for jewelry, gems, and all things glittery emerged from a childhood of rock hounding with my mother and living next door to a gentleman jeweler. It further expanded into a passion when I took a class in junior high in metal working where I made my first pair of earrings. Since then I have made gift after gift of jewelry art to friends and family who encouraged me to use my passion to open a shop. Which leads me to the now of this story. After searching endlessly for the prefect supplies and long nights of the world fading away to just sparkling gems, beads, and wire, my creations you see were born.
I take great pride in my creations and so compliments are always appreciated. I feel like each one of my pieces has a story and can help someone in someway. It is my goal in life to find each one of my creations a loving home where they will be cared for. When you pour a piece of your soul into something it isn't just an object any more, it has a life and character of it's own.
The materials I use for my jewelry always vary. Sometimes things just speak to me and ignite my creative sparks. From local swap meets where raw gems are sold sometimes, to yard sales to find jewelry to be recycled. Craft fairs, local bead shops, and other etsy sellers shops, the list goes on and on.
