We are Scott and Jessica, a husband-and-wife team based in southern New Mexico. What began as a creative hobby and a love of handcrafted décor has grown into a family business dedicated to creating unique wooden pieces that bring warmth, personality, and joy into the home.
Susie's Signs is named in honor of our beloved dog, Susie. She was more than a pet—she was family. Her playful spirit, love of adventure, and ability to make everyone smile inspired us in countless ways. When we decided to turn our passion for woodworking and painting into a business, naming it after Susie felt like the perfect way to honor the joy she brought to our lives. Today, she continues to inspire our work and even serves as the inspiration behind our first shelf sitter character and honorary shop mascot.
Every item in our shop is handcrafted with care. Scott designs and cuts many of our creations, while Jessica hand-paints each piece, making every item truly one of a kind. We specialize in wooden door hangers, shelf sitters, ornaments, and seasonal décor, all created with attention to detail and a love for the handmade process.
