Welcome
Hi, my name is Suzanne Davis. Thank you for visiting my shop. I'm an artist based in Boise, ID. For the last 20+ years, my husband and I have raised our two boys in this beautiful state. Now that they have grown and moved out, I'm taking time to enjoy my art again.
Oil painting has become a passion ( or an obsession? :). I love painting pieces with a vintage, timeless esthetic, often pairing it with a wood frame found through antique shops or thrifting; creating an instant heirloom piece of art ready to hang. Most often the frame comes first, then a panel is cut to fit, then the painting begins.
My desire is for buyers to have real art on their walls; so I'm not offering prints at this time.
My art has been featured in a collection of publications including Early American Life (for portraits and silhouettes), Prims magazine (for silhouettes), Etsy (for portraits).
Another new-found passion is painting custom pet portraits, if you would like to follow that journey; please visit my website:https://www.suzannedavisstudio.com/commissions and find me on instagram @suzannedavisstudio for any behind the scenes, or new art updates.
Thank you!
Suzanne
