About my work
Hi, my name is Svitlana Yurchenko.
I started to paint watercolor at the end of 2012. I have never studied painting, I just like to do it.
The main idea of my work is to remind people, that whoever they are, no matter how many tops they've achieved, or maybe quite the contrary, inside of them a child always remains. And it's not the child who has already learned to distance oneself from manifestations of the society, resent or insult in return, judge and compare because it is accepted around. But the one for who everything exists just because it exists, who feels anything new as an unknown development that has no name and doesn't follow the laws.
Over time a lot of us leave this kid somewhere behind, explaining this with they rush to success, some of us don't want to stop controlling everything around and play in adults.
I think, everything you see around shows you something about yourself. Things that surround you is nothing less than reflection of your inner world.
So the aim of my works is to touch that unconscious being hidden inside.
Maybe these images will give people a chance to find it and become a little bit more open, receptive, observant in a result.
