5 out of 5 starsGetting my wig commissioned from Hee-Hee was a dream. When I saw Glimmer and her cartoony hair I knew I had to get this wig commissioned from Hee-Hee and I am so glad that I did! The styling is perfect and the quality of the wig is amazing. Even though it's teased, the fibers look great and none of the wig looks "hard" (that's a problem that I constantly run into when I style my own wigs) The wig looks just as cartoony in real life and I got endless compliments when I wore it for the first time at a convention. I've worn it multiple times (at a convention, for a photoshoot, to make videos, etc.) and the style stayed put! The communication was really great and the delivery was on time! I can not recommend Swank Wigs enough!

It's fluffy and accurate to reference photos, honestly the most spectacular commissioned product I've ever recieved. When will my wig be finished?
These will be preorders on select wigs, some with limited quantities! Once they're sold out, I may not be relisting them again!
Get 'em while you can! Individual information about processing time will be visible on each item's page. Most are posted at 6-8 weeks just to be safe.
Can I have a commission for a wig not listed?
Please check my Announcements section to see if custom commission slots are open! This is when you can request a wig for your favorite character or design, even if it isn't currently listed in my shop!
How do you ship the wigs?
When packaging your wig, I attach the wighead TO the box with hot glue and tape to make sure it doesn't bump around during transit. Depending on the style, I will also add padding around the project! When your item arrives, it is easiest for the client to cut the box open before attempting to free the wighead.
You can also keep the wighead secured on the bottom square of cardboard for balance purposes (if your wig is backheavy, for example, you can keep your wig on a shelf or desk and merely place small weights on the corners of the cardboard)!
I have a wig, can I send it to you to style?
Unfortunately I do not work with materials I have not purchased myself. In the past, I have been sent wigs and/or wefts that clients have claimed to be "new and unused," only to immediately be able to tell that they have been cut cup and that feel/smell of product. This can often give me more work in styling than I may have quoted you for.
So, for the sake of simplicity (and my own peace of mind), I will no longer be accepting styling jobs on wigs that the buyer already owns. I do apologize for the inconvenience- as this is definitely one of those "this is why we cant have nice things" cases.
Can I rush my order?
If you live in the US, you can! Please refer to the information in my item listings on how to request a deadline for your order BEFORE you purchase! Thanks!

My package arrived damaged!
Unfortunately this shop does not take responsibility to damages done by the post office.
However! If your wig is damaged when it arrives, please take a photo of the wig right out of the box! There are a few options we can work with- if it is an easy fix, I can send advice (through descriptions, photos, or maybe a short video if the situation calls for it) to help you fix it on your own.
OR you can send the wig back. If the wig's appearance matches the photo you sent before sending it, I will make repairs for the price of shipping (we will make a custom listing).
This offer does not hold if you damage the wig after wearing it yourself. In those cases I will charge a restyling fee!
I would like a refund.
If you request a refund before your base materials have been ordered, you will receive a full refund! This is usually 1-3 days after purchase.
Any time after that, until the time in which your wig is shipped, I cannot offer a full refund, but you will be given a partial refund of the labor cost! After materials have been purchased, that amount cannot be returned.
In the event you would like a refund after receiving your wig, you will have to ship the wig back to me in the condition you received it in (you will need to send a photo of the wig with your refund request). IF YOU WEAR THE WIG BEFORE REQUESTING A REFUND, I will not be able to offer a refund.
Wigs are like undies; once you wear them, the store won't let you return 'em!

Please keep the following Etsy policies in mind for overseas buyers:
Import duties, taxes and charges are NOT INCLUDED in the item price or shipping charges. These charges are the buyer's responsibility. Please check with your country's customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to bidding/buying.

You're closed for custom commissions. Can I still ask about a custom order for the future?
For simplicity's sake, I do not handle any custom order business while custom commissions are closed. So unfortunately I cannot answer how much a wig for X character will be by the time I open back up, and I cannot reserve slots at this time either.
This also shows fairness to those who patiently wait for slots to open to begin asking about quotes and wig specifics, as I request. Thanks for understanding!
I ordered a wig! When can I poke you for updates?
Please keep in mind that I always have several wig orders going at once; this is one of the reasons processing time varies from 6-10 weeks (check your wig's listing to see processing time).
Some wigs I am able to finish in one sitting, so you may only receive finished photos for you to approve/request any changes to. I usually don't send WIP photos while it's being worked on, but I have made exceptions when I wanted the client's opinion on something before continuing.
You are welcomed to message me to ask where I am with your order, but keep your Processing Time or your Rush Due Date in mind when you do so! I may only begin your wig 1-2 weeks before the due date if I am fully booked.
I'm happy to say I haven't missed a due date yet!
