I've spent my life learning new skills and making things for my friends and family. The problem is that there a lot more I always wanted to make but didn't have a reason to invest the money. After some significant losses in my life, I decided to stop wasting time and finally get my business up and running.
When it came to my shop name, I wanted something different. One day, while my husband and I were needing a little cheering up, my friend sent a string of photos of various reptiles in sweaters. (If you have never done this Google search , treat yourself right now!) Once I started thinking about it, I realized that Sweaters for Turtles was the perfect fit for my shop. I wanted to make a large variety of items in different mediums but the one thing that binds them all together is that they are unnecessary but make me and other people smile. Thus, my little enterprise was born and I hope to make a lot more people smile and bring a little fun to everyday items while keeping them affordable.
