I love communicating the old-fashioned way....by writing a card!

I picture someone heading to the mailbox and, in among the bills and fliers, there's a greeting card from a friend or family member. It seems so much more special and personal than a quick email.

My collage cards are based on vintage postcards and the idea of an old luggage tag. I set up a scene with vintage buttons and other small items. Then, I take a photo of the whole thing and have the cards printed. The photo cards and linoleum-print cards are based on the beautiful world around me.

I started by working out of a foyer. Now, I finally have my own studio space and breathe a sigh of relief when I can shut the door and begin to create some more designs.

I've been creating greeting cards for many years, beginning with my obsession with vintage postcards. Now I make collage, photography, and linoleum-print cards. And I have mini garlands and framed prints now, too.
