Our Brave Journey
My passion is creating custom and rustic home decor, that has previously been solely enjoyed by my husband and our moms. Then our church, Crossroads in Cincinnati, began a series call The Brave Journey. During the series we were encouraged to listen to what God was calling us to, and to take a brave new step towards where He was leading us. Now I am stepping out and offering my creations to a wider audience!

The Sweet Chalk Design Process
To create my custom hand-painted signs, I take pallet wood and break it down, sand it, and refinish it with chalk paint. Each design is done by hand, without the use of stencils or computer graphics. I start by drawing out a custom design on paper, and then transferring it to the sign using graphite paper. Then I take my tiny brush and paint on the design. Each sign is finished with a clear creme wax to protect the design and give it a smooth finish.
