My name is Kandace, owner of Sweet Home Baker.
At the heart of my logo is a four-leaf clover made of hearts, each heart representing one of my four daughters, my four little blessings. They are the inspiration behind everything I do and the reason Sweet Home Baker was created. My girls have always been the center of my world and becoming a mom to four amazing adult daughters and now a proud grandmother to one sweet grandson , has been the greatest joy of my life.
When my daughters were growing up, I loved creating special birthday parties and themed celebrations for them. I wanted every party to feel magical and memorable, but custom bakery desserts were often far outside my budget as a single mom raising four kiddos. Instead of giving up on those dreams, I decided to learn how to bake and decorate cakes myself.
What started as a way to make my daughters smile quickly turned into a true passion.
For over 15 years, I’ve been creating celebration cakes, wedding cakes, cupcakes, dessert toppers, and sweet treats for others to enjoy. Baking allows me to combine creativity, love, and joy into something meaningful that brings people together during life’s happiest moments. There’s truly nothing better than seeing someone light up over a beautiful dessert made just for them.
When I’m not baking, I love to travel and experience new adventures whenever I can. I’m happiest near the water, whether that’s kayaking, snorkeling, or simply floating in the water. I love discovering new places, trying different foods, and enjoying every moment life has to offer.
I opened my Etsy shop to provide beautiful, professionally designed cake toppers and dessert kits that are affordable and accessible to everyone, especially home bakers. I believe you shouldn’t have to spend a fortune to create something beautiful and memorable for the people you love.
