I have always been interested in creating things with my hands, such as sewing, knitting,
photography or cooking. However, felting was not among my hobbies initially. Items made of wool which I've seen on photos seemed for me itchy, uncomfortable to wear and rough. It all changed when I felted a woolen scarf and hat for my daughter to wear in winter time. She really loved both pieces and refused to wear anything else and the wool I used was very soft and pleasant to the body. I then took a several felting seminars and discovered the infinite potential of wool. Workshop by Irina Spasskaya - master of felted stylish hats, and two workshops by Lara Soboleva - master of nunofelting. I learned about various types and colors, and how to combine wool with delicate silk fabric or threads. I started to felt things that were not only warm and comfortable to wear but also elegant and beautiful.

When creating new silk patterns I feel like an artist at work, and when inventing new models, I explore my potential as a designer. I felt a lot for my daughters, and they wear their intricate dresses, bags and mittens until they grow out of them because they really like it. I also felt for myself and my friends and I know that people always pay attention to them.
