One-Of-A-Kind Handmade Upcycled Clothing & Creations
Sweet Life Threads began several years ago long before it even had a name. Back then it was just something fun for me to do on the side, selling upcycled headbands and accessories from my campsite at hippie festivals, and making custom clothes for myself and close friends.
Today this isn't something I do on the side — my Etsy shop is my full time career, so you can expect a high level of customer service and only top quality products. I put all my heart and soul into this business because what could be more fulfilling than creating beautiful things for people?
My name is Cher and I am the owner, designer, creator, shopper, website writer, photographer, etc., etc. I am a ONE woman operation. My workspace takes up a good chunk of my living room, and I keep it really clean and cozy. I've been creating art of some form my entire life, and I was lucky to grow up in an atmosphere that nurtured creativity.
I have BIG dreams for my shop and this is just the beginning. The name “Sweet Life Threads” resonates with me because I believe life is meant to be sweet. My clothing reflects a lifestyle of love, happiness, fun, and good music!
I think most people can agree that sustaining the environment is pretty important. I use mostly upcycled fabrics, and only use new fabrics for costumes and some custom orders. Wearing upcycled handmade clothing is a great way to add to your other environmental practices. By supporting my shop you're not only playing an important part in helping the environment, you're helping a small business and a family.
