I have always been a creative person. It started as a little girl, making clothes for my dolls to becoming a fashion designer in real life. Although working in the glorious fashion capital of the world, New York City, is a dream, my true passion is creating beautiful one of a kind items for children, home decor, weddings, and nurseries.
The idea for Sweet Mimi Studio came after hand crafting and painting several items for my first born daughter's nursery; Amelia aka Mimi. Her nursery holds some of my favorite treasures and so many memories that I have made with my little girl.
Our best selling item are our Mommy & Me crown sets and I can understand why. So much love goes into each one I make as if they will be for my own sweet Mimi. Each flower is hand cut by yours truly and crafted to make a true one of a kind crown. I love being a part of the moments that so many mamas make with their little ones and I look forward to seeing where this adventure takes me.
Our felts and elastics are locally sourced and purchased to ensure that we are using the best hand of felt to create a lush full crown.
Sweet Mimi Studio is run out of my home. I create, photograph, and ship everything myself. There is a 2-3 week lead time for all custom orders so that I could put the proper time needed into each item and ensure that it is expertly crafted for you and your event.
