A Little Bit About My Primitive Creating Journey....
My journey began as a little girl. My parents would take me to my Grandparents farm, County Fairs, Flea Markets and our cottage by the lake. For me, seeing my Grandmother using an old wooden hoe weeding the garden on the farm, taking our yearly traditional trip to the County Fair and seeing the old farm equipment on display, visiting Flea Markets and seeing an array of old and worn vintage and antique pieces and taking a trip to our cottage and being out in nature with all of the beautiful hues of browns, greens and blues made me feel something deep in my soul and has been so inspiring!
For me, Nature is one of my biggest inspirations to creating my primitives. Finding that perfect stick for a pumpkin stem or nose, arms or legs and gathering some dried corn cobs and husks from a farmers field for my dolls adds something special to them.
I started sewing in my early twenties on and off and sold my creations on Ebay back in the day and later opened up my Etsy shop. I have met so many wonderful customers/friends that have collected my art for years and those who have just started and appreciate each and every one of you! Thank you for allowing me to continue to do what I love.
When I am not creating primitives you will find me kayaking, fishing, camping, antiquing, gardening and spending time with my Hubby and our two rescue cats.
Thank you for visiting my shop!
